Our Story

Over 25 years ago, brothers Nick and Frank began collecting antique phones and antique phone parts in their Colorado homes. While their extensive collections began with candlestick and cradle phones, the brothers soon discovered they had a passion for the beauty of wooden wall phones.

As a young man, Nick recalled his fascination and astonishment at the “newly arrived” wooden wall phone located in the general store two miles from his family's farm house. He described his wonder and awe in seeing and using the telephone for the first time and was intrigued with how it worked. This interest served him later as he retired from the military and quickly picked up the hobby of phone collecting and phone restoration.

In their years of flea market combing and antique shop hopping, the men had a striking collection of candlestick and cradle phones, authentic phone parts, as well as some completely original wooden wall phones. They began restoring phones, making sure that most or all parts were authentic to each design. The majority of their wooden wall phone collection is made out of handcrafted wooden boxes made by Frank. Nick primarily collected parts and assembled the phones, making sure they were as close to an authentic duplicate as possible (in his knowledge). The quality of workmanship is unrivaled, and the “rebuilds” precisely mirror the appearance of an original phone. Countless hours and attention to detail has gone into each wooden wall phone.

Our small family business is now based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Under Nick’s direction, we simply sell the phones that he and Frank collected. Just as Nick and Frank passionately restored and preserved a piece of history, we too, hope you will enjoy your phone for years to come. Thank you for visiting our site as we continue to “ring in a piece of history!”
